Olivia Wilde has joined the cast of Disney's upcoming sequel to the classic 1982 sci-fi film "Tron."
Variety reports the sequel is titled “TR2N” and will be directed by Joseph Kosinski. Wilde’s role in the film is not yet known, but the sequel is scheduled to have Jeff Bridges back in his role of a computer hacker.
The original film saw Bridges’ character pulled into the computer’s world and forced to play a series of gladiator-styled games.
Disney is scheduled to get the sequel into theaters sometime in 2011.
Wilde is currently at work on the biblical comedy “Year One” for Columbia and producer Judd Apatow. The comedy also stars Jack Black. Wilde can also be seen on the hit Fox television drama "House."
