Ray Stevenson has signed to join Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis on the upcoming drama “Book of Eli.”

Variety reports the film will be financed by Alcon and distributed by Warner Bros. It will be directed by Allen and Albert Hughes with shooting scheduled to start in February.
Stevenson has signed to play enforcer tasked with killing Eli (Washington). Eli is traveling across America with a sacred book that could save humanity.
Stevenson returns to the big screen on Friday with “The Punisher: War Zone.” The actor will handle the role of Frank Castle/Punisher for the Marvel Comics film – replacing Thomas Jane who handled the role in 2004’s “The Punisher.”
Stevenson just finished acting chores on the Universal film "Cirque du Freak" which was directed by Paul Weitz.
