Steven Spielberg and Will Smith are in talks for the remake of Chan Wook-park's "Oldboy."

He is released, given money, a cell phone and clothes. The man then goes on a quest for revenge against the people responsible.Spielberg has been looking for a chance to work with Smith on a film, and is currently shopping for a writer for the remake.The remake was first set at Universal before moving to Mandate. Spielberg’s next directing project is scheduled to be "Tintin."
