Troy Duffy's sequel to “The Boondock Saints” has started filming in Toronto with Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus returning as the brothers who deliver their own brand of justice in Boston. The Boondock Saints will return! Filming has started with Troy Duffy directing and Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus returning as the brothers McManus.Variety reports "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day" is directed by Duffy from his own script and is being produced by Chris Brinker and Don Carmody. Lloyd Segan and Rob Fried are executive producing the project.The film will also feature performances from Clifton Collins Jr., Billy Connolly, Julie Benz, David Della Rocco, Bob Marley, Brian Mahoney and David Ferry.Duffy’s "The Boondock Saints" was originally a Miramax film with a planned budget of $15 million. The film was later dropped by the studio, but Duffy was able to shoot the it on a smaller budget. The film went on to be a cult favorite on the home entertainment market.
