Production still from the first Transformers film.
Shia LaBeouf has been injured on the set of the new 'Transformers' film.
The 22-year-old actor was reportedly hit in the face by a prop while shooting a scene for 'Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen', resulting in a cut below his eyebrow which required stitches.
After receiving treatment Shia, rushed back to the set of the movie to continue filming.
The actor's representative refused to comment on the incident.
It is not the first time an injury to Shia has affected the filming of the movie.
Earlier this year, Shia had to have extensive surgery after he injured his hand in a car crash.
At the time, director Michael Bay announced he would be writing a hand injury into the script to ensure the movie was not held up.
Shia was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) following the Los Angeles crash, but all charges were later dropped when it was discovered the other driver had caused the accident.
