Michael Sheen is set to be a very busy actor with a role in the upcoming thriller “Unthinkable” with Samuel L. Jackson and Tim Burton's spin on the classic "Alice in Wonderland."
Variety reports "Unthinkable" will be directed by Gregor Jordan ("The Informers"), and examines the ethics of torture.
The film follows a terrorist who is taken into custody after threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S. During the investigation, he is questioned by a specialist interrogator and an FBI agent (Carrie-Ann Moss).
"Unthinkable" is scheduled to start shooting this month.
Sheen will also have a role in Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” – which will feature Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
The two films shift Sheen from his current trend of portraying real-life characters on the screen.
The actor stars as British TV host David Frost in Ron Howard's "Frost/Nixon," and handled the role of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in "The Deal" and "The Queen" for Stephen Frears.
