Miller? With all the promising and talented actresses out there, they had to get Miller? Might have had potential, but it sounds like crap.

So, what is actually going on with this film?
Is it going ahead?
Has Sienna Miller returned to the cast after Ridley Scott intervened?
Has Ridley Scott been fired as a result of Crowe's meddling?
Has the rumor that Crowe may be replaced by Aussie actor Steve Innes been confirmed?
I was looking forward to this but now I'm just sick of the nonsense.
It's only a movie after all.

Dump Crowe as he is fat and old and if he actually trying to get Ridley fired it just proves that old friendships mean nothing and he no longer really cares about his career.
He actually told his friend Baz Luhrmann that he 'does not work for charity' when asked to play the lead role in 'Australia' for less than would normally get paid.
So Hugh Jackman got the role instead for about what he would normally get paid.

As of this week it looks like a lot or the roles are to be re-cast. Miller is gone for good, Crowe may no longer be even involved in the movie and Steve Innes may play King Richard now, not the Sherrif or Robin Hood.
I know someone who is involved in the production and she said casting directors were sending out fresh casting briefs, scripts and character breakdowns and already replacement talent are already being signed up in case the current cast decide to bail out.

Steve Innes to play King Richard?
I thought it was going to be Christian Bale.
Who is Steve Innes and where is he from?

I have not actually heard of Steve Innes either but I googled him and he lives in Perth, Australia and is a busy actor, writer and radio personality there.
His agent in Perth is the same one that represented Heath Ledger and his Sydney agent is the same one as Russell Crowe's and Cate Blanchett's.
He appears to hang in the right circles.

Speaking of Steve Innes and Cate Blanchett, no, they are not an item, but they did just wind up a season of War Of The Roses in Perth, Australia and the reviews for both are highly complimentary.
Ther are set to take the show overland to Syndney and Melbourne and possibly to London and NYC(on or off broadway, I wonder?).
I was a fan of the earlier movie so I would like to see this but I'm in L.A. so I hope they will eventually find their way here.

Sounds like a bunch of rumors being circulated for the sake of it.
Who ever claimed that Steve Innes and Cate Blanchett were an item?
They never met prior to The War Of The Roses and are both married with kids and live on seperate sides of Australia.
The only current link they have is that they were both involved in Nottingham, but now Innes is not involved now and Blanchett is in the U.K. filming it now.

I quite like Steve Innes: He's a bit quirky, has very blue eyea and has a nice accent.
Not that funny, high pitched aussie whine that make you reach
He is British born after all but you would not know it.
Not sure of his age but he seems older than he looks.
