Although the Irish actor admits the James Bond star would have the upper hand in a brawl, Neeson - who plays a highly-skilled former government agent in new film 'Taken' -would not be afraid to give him a low blow.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Daniel has all the hardware and technology. But I'd certainly kick him in the privates."
Neeson, 56 - who is a former boxer, holding the Youth Heavyweight Champion of Ireland title for three consecutive years - admits Craig could probably beat him if they squared up in the boxing ring.
He said: "Daniel would win in a fight. He's younger."
The actor has also revealed he met several real life spies to prepare for 'Taken'.
He added: "I met a couple of interesting people who have worked for various governments in a very secretive way. They were very helpful.
"The things they have done make the scenes in my film look like 'Sesame Street'.
"They told me some interesting stories but wouldn't reveal any top secret information."
'Taken' is released in the UK this month and worldwide by early 2009.
