Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman head to ‘Couples Retreat’

Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman and Faizon Love are set to head to Universal’s "Couples Retreat" – which will be directed by Peter Billingsley from a script by Favreau. Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau get counseling in ‘Couples Retreat.’

Victoria Vaughn and Guy Riedel are executive producing. Other casting is still being finalized. The film is looking to start shooting in late October with locations in Bora Bora and Los Angeles.The film’s plot follows four couples at a tropical island resort. One couple is there to work on their marriage. The other couple is at the island to have a good time, but discover participation in the resort’s couples therapy is required.Vaughn reportedly came up with the idea for "Couples Retreat" while working on 2006’s "The Break-Up" – which he produced with Stuber and starred in with Favreau.
