Russell Mulcahy to direct ‘Give 'Em Hell, Malone’

“Highlander” helmer Russell Mulcahy has signed to direct the upcoming indie action flick "Give 'Em Hell, Malone" – which will star Ving Rhames, Thomas Jane and Elsa Pataky. Russell Mulcahy and Milla Jovovich on the set of Resident Evil: Extinction

Russell Mulcahy and Milla Jovovich on the set of Resident Evil: ExtinctionVariety reports the film will be produced by Hannibal Pictures and Continental Entertainment with Richard Rionda Del Castro, Richard Salvatore and Johnny Martin. Executive producing duties will be handled by Martin Barab, Oscar Generale, Armand Speca, Walter Josten and Jeffrey Geoffray.The film’s script was written by Mark Hosack, and follows a private eye as he tries to retrieve a mysterious case. Shooting is scheduled to start on Oct. 6th in Spokane, Washington.
