Variety reports the film will feature the original Blue Man stage line-up of Matt Goldman, Chris Wink and Phil Stanton and is expected to be shot next June.
The film could arrive in theaters by June 2010. The project is currently shopping for a director.
The film’s plot is being kept quiet, but Goldman stated in Daily Variety: "It's going to have a story, believe it or not. It's going to have real science content, and we're excited about being in the neuroscience space."
It will be partially financed by Blue Man Group with additional financing expected to come from traditional Imax funding means - equity investors, sponsorships and Imax exhibitors.
