Val Kilmer will star in Nu Image/Millennium Films’ upcoming crime thriller “Fake Identity.”

Variety reports the film is produced by Zvia Dimbort and Boaz Davidson, and will be directed by Dennis Dimster-Denk. It was written by Dimster-Denk and Dimbort.
Nu Image's Avi Lerner and Trevor Short are set to handle executive producing duties. "Fake Identity" is scheduled to start shooting on Sept. 30th at the Nu Boyana Film Center in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The film’s plot follows an American doctor working in Chechnya. His life takes a turn for the deadly after an encounter with a woman and her attacker.
Kilmer just finished shooting Millennium's remake of "The Bad Lieutenant" with Nicolas Cage. He will also appear in "Streets of Blood" with Sharon Stone and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. Both of those films were shot at Nu Image’s Louisiana facility.
