Sean Astin, Celia Weston and Sara Foster sign on for ‘Demoted’

Sean Astin - Smile Los Angeles Movie Premiere - Arclight Theater © Chris Hatcher / PhotorazziJ.B. Rogers will direct the film from a screenplay written by Dan Callahan. Parallel Media's new genre stable Parallel Zide is handling producing duties on the feature with Warren Zide. Ryan Lewis will handle executive producing duties. The film is scheduled to start production next month in Michigan.The film’s plot follows two tire salesmen who spend their days playing pranks on their co-worker. Things change when their victim becomes the boss and demotes them to secretarial jobs. Foster has signed to play Astin's wife – who is tricked into thinking her husband had a promotion at work. Weston is set for the role of the head secretary who helps them come up with a plan for revenge.
