World Premiere - Arrivals - Ziegfeld Theatre, 141 West 54th Street - New York City, NY, USA © Janet Mayer / PR PhotosVariety reports Meyers (“Something’s Gotta Give” and “The Holiday”) made a deal earlier this year to develop a movie at Universal and will be handling producing duties on the film with Scott Rudin. The film is set to begin production in February, 2009.Streep (who is charming audiences with Universal’s “Mamma Mia!) is in talks for the role of a female in a romantic triangle with two men, and reportedly was attracted to the film thanks to Meyers’ script.If she signs for the film, it will mark her fourth team-up with Rudin (“The Hours). She is currently at work giving voice to a character in the stop-motion animation adaptation of “The Fantastic Mr. Fox” – which is based on a Roald Dahl novel.
