Diablo Cody writing comedy based on Spielberg idea

DreamWorks has signed Oscar-winner Diablo Cody to write an untitled comedy based on an original idea by Steven Spielberg. Diablo Cody -

This will be the second time Cody has worked with Spielberg. She is executive producing and wrote the pilot for the Showtime series "The United States of Tara" – which is also based on a Spielberg concept.The iconic director first noticed Cody when Mandate Pictures was shopping “Juno” (which Cody wrote) around for a domestic distributor. Reportedly, Spielberg gave consideration to directing the teen comedy.Cody's has also written the screenplay for Fox Atomic’s "Jennifer's Body” - which is in production. She also pitched "Girly Style" to Universal.
