Revenge of the Nerds Remake from Fox Searchlight

Fox Searchlight Pictures is developing a remake of Revenge of the Nerds, the 1984 college comedy in which the nerds take revenge on the football players who've humiliated them.
The film is being written by Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah. The OC star Adam Brody and Grounded for Life star Brett Harrison are co-producing and may also star in the film.
The new version will go for the R rating but will have a storyline similar to the original, and may even feature some cameos from original cast members.
