Val Kilmer and Shane West in 'Silver Cord'

Val Kilmer and Shane West have been added to the growing cast of Handpicked Films and Tayrona Entertainment indie flick “Silver Cord.” Cam Gigandet, Arielle Kebbel and Eric Balfour have also signed for the film. Producing duties are being handled by Michel Shane, Anthony Romano, James Ordonez, Shani Rigsbee and Gord. Jai Khanna of Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Rob Folk are handling executive producing duties.The film’s plot follows Ordonez's brother - who came back to life after being declared clinically dead on several different occasions. He died in 2004.The film is set to start production in September and has received a SAG waiver.
