Stephen King’s 'Throttle' headed to the screen

Producer Nick Wechsler has picked up the screen rights for the Stephen King and Joe Hill novella "Throttle." Stephen King - FujiFilm and Vault host

The novella (which is the first collaboration between King and his son) will published in 2009 as part of the “He Is Legend” anthology that is dedicated to “I Am Legend” author Richard Matheson.In Variety, Wechsler described the story as having “elements of iconic films like 'Duel' and 'Breakdown,' but with a horror element.”Hill’s novel "Heart-Shaped Box" is being developed for film at Warner Bros. with Neil Jordan working on the script. His graphic novel "Locke & Key" is being developed for the screen by Dimension.
