Berkley and Evigan join Donnie Darko sequel

Ortega / PR PhotosThe film will feature Daveigh Chase reprising her role from the original movie and will also star Ed Westwick and Justin Chatwin, according to information in The Hollywood Reporter.The sequel’s plot is set seven years after the first film and follows Donnie Darko's sister, Samantha. She is still dealing with her family issues when she starts to have bizarre visions. She leaves town with her best friend – who also has visions. Berkley has signed for the role of a speed-freak that has been saved and is now a Jesus-freak. She has desired to save the world from sin and desires for her pastor.The sequel has started production in Utah.
