I just saw the same thing today! I just moved to Albuquerque NM a few weeks ago. I was driving around trying to find the Drag way when I took a wrong turn. As I came around a bend in the road I saw a 7-11 store on the side of the road that looked like it had been blown up by a bomb! It was all black and there were burnout cars all around it. At first I did not know what to think and thought it was real. I then saw a blackened road sign that had arrows pointing to LA one-way, and Bakersfield the other way. I then know it had to be a movie set! I then saw a cop that was setting in his cars looking at me. He got out and started walking in my direction. I thought it would be a good time to trun my car around and drive away. My friend and I got online and did some research and found this site. I think there is a good chance it is part of the new T_2 movie! Cool.

As I was driving to the Iron Maiden show last night at the Journal Pavillion, we drove on a road that was closed to the general public for a movie shoot (save for the traffic into the Pavillion). We started passing what looked to be burned out wrecks on the side of the road, a la Mad Max. Then, we passed a set with a burned out 7-11 on the road...looked like it had been partially destroyed complete with large road sign that had bullet holes in it. Very cool! I'm not 100% sure this was the Terminator set, but I'm 98% sure.
