Jonas Brothers get the 3-D treatment from Disney

The mega-popular Jonas Brothers are getting the 3-D treatment from Disney with a concert film hitting the big screen.

The studio is hoping to capture the magic the same way "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour" did earlier this year. The film earned $65 million after its one-week playdate which prompted Disney to expand the release through early March.

Variety reports the Jonas Brothers concert film would include footage from the group’s upcoming "Burning Up" concert tour. There will also be documentary footage on the lives of the three brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick.

The concert film will be directed by Bruce Hendricks (who brought the "Hannah Montana" concert film to the screen) and produced by Art Repola ("Hannah Montana," ESPN's "Ultimate X: The Movie"). Other producers on the film include Phil McIntyre, Kevin Jonas Sr., Johnny Wright and Alan Sacks.

In Variety, Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production prexy Oren Aviv stated: "More than just a concert, this film will take moviegoers inside the band's creative process, and present them in a very intimate and entertaining way.”

The Jonas Brothers are scheduled to kick off their "Burning Up" tour in Toronto on July 4. The tour will feature guest Demi Lovato, who appears with the brothers in the Disney Channel film "Camp Rock" - which airs June 20th.

The brothers are also set to be featured in a new reality series "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream." The series chronicles the trio on tour and starts on the Disney Channel May 16th. They are also scheduled to star in the Disney Channel comedy series "J.O.N.A.S!" in the fall.
