Harrelson and Morton join The Messenger

Woody Harrelson and Samantha Morton have signed to join the cast of Oren Moverman's "The Messenger" – which will also feature Ben Foster, Jena Malone and Eamonn Walker. Woody Harrelson -

It is Moverman's directorial debut. He has penned scripts for Todd Haynes' Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There and Ira Sachs' Married Life.The Messenger is produced by Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan) and Lawrence Inglee for the Mark Gordon Co. with Reason Pictures' Zach Miller. It was written by Moverman and Alessandro Camon.The film’s financing is through Omnilab Media Group and Sherezade Films Development. ContentFilm Intl is lined up to handle sales at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
