Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nick Stoller is teaming again with Judd Apatow for the Universal Pictures’ comedy Get Him to the Greek. The film will star Jonah Hill and Russell Brand.
Variety reports Stoller has signed to write and direct the comedy about a college graduate insurance adjuster (Hill) hired to accompany a rocker (Brand) from London to a concert at L.A.'s Greek Theater.
Hill and Brand had supporting roles in Forgetting Sarah Marshall – which was Stoller’s feature directing debut.
In Variety, Stoller stated: "During the table read on 'Sarah Marshall,' Jonah and Russell had such a great chemistry. Even though they are such different actors with different styles, I thought there could be a great buddy comedy there."
Stoller is also at work co-writing with Sarah Marshall’s Jason Segal on the comedy Five-Year Engagement for Universal. Stoller will direct the flick with Segal set to star. The duo is also working on a new Muppet movie for Disney.
