Warner Bros. picks up The Treehouse Gang

Warner Bros. has picked up Timothy Dowling’s adventure-comedy spec The Treehouse Gang for David Heyman's Heyday Films.Variety reports the studio finished up the deal this week and won the rights with a bid of $750,000 against $1.5 million. Heyday has produced all five Harry Potter films and is scheduled to finish out the franchise with the final three films.Treehouse Gang follows four friends who are known for their treasure-hunting skills as kids. The gang meets up again during their high school reunion and head out for one more adventure while dealing with 10-year-old grudges.
