Writer/Director Troy Duffy has announced a sequel to The Boondock Saints will happen.

In a video announcement at Slashfilm, Duffy stated The Boondock Saints: All Saints Day will start shooting this summer and original cast members Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus and Billy Connolly will return.Duffy also stated he finished a deal that will have Sony Pictures handle distribution for the sequel.
