I am not to suprise that the american is remaking another asian film.... let just hope they make a good remake like The departed.... (looking forward to it)....

would be good that american movie industry sotps vampirization of good originals... sorry to say but 'departed' is a disaster compared to the original trilogy 'infernal affairs'... except, maybe for the HiFi Music system displayed...

Picked up the DVD today at HKFLIX.com. From all accounts, I've heard this is the best Korean movie of '08. Its tough to see awesome movies get butchered by remakes ala Bangkok Dangerous most recently. THE DEPARTED was probably the best remade Asian film in recent movie. Most people didn't even realize it was a remake.
