Marisa Tomei wrestles for Darren Aronofsky

Marisa Tomei has signed on to join Mickey Rourke in Darren Aronofsky's indie drama The Wrestler.Variety reports Tomei will play the female lead opposite Rourke in the film that follows an over-the-hill 1980s-era pro wrestler who quits the business following a heart attack. Tomei will star as a stripper who Rourke moves in with to build a relationship with her son. The film was written by Aronofsky and Robert Siegel. It is currently shooting in New York and New Jersey.
