Tim Meadows signs for Ashley Tisdale 'Upstairs' comedy

Tim Meadows and Gillian Vigman will join “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale on the upcoming Fox comedy They Came From Upstairs. The film will also star Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins, Austin Butler, Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young. Tim Meadows -

The film is directed by John Schultz with producing duties handled by Barry Josephson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.They Came From Upstairs was written by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg. It follows a group of teens who have to team up to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens – who have invaded the upstairs.The film is being co-produced by Joe Hartwick Jr. and Marc S. Fischer is handling executive producing duties. It is being co-financed by Fox (who is also distributing the film) and Regency. Production is scheduled to begin at the end of January in Auckland, New Zealand.
