CHUD.com has reported the actor has been attached to the role of Victor Creed (Sabretooth), and not a younger version of William Stryker (who was played by Bryan Cox in X2: X-Men United). Gerald Butler was also rumored to be in talks for the role, but the rumor was never confirmed.
Michael C. Hall (star of Showtime’s “Dexter”) is rumored to be at the top of the list for the Stryker. The film has had several casting rumors – including singer Natalie Imbruglia up for the role of Silver Fox and “Buffy” star Bailey Chase linked to the role of Gambit.
