Hayden Christensen was left "battered" after filming his latest movie.

The 26-year-old actor suffered a "hyperdilated pupil" and "split open" an ear and injured a hand during the shooting of 'Jumper', after director Doug Liman insisted he do most of his stunts.
He said in an interview with Empire magazine: "I got battered. I came home every day with a new bruise. A lot of the action was last minute like, 'Alright, so now you're going to be hit and you need to throw yourself up against the wall and land there.' You just had to go for it. Doug doesn't like to fake anything, he likes you to go through it.
"There were a couple of times where, maybe, he took it a little too far. I split my hand open and we had to crazy-glue it back together so we could continue filming. I still have a scar.
"I also split my ear open in a fight with Samuel L. Jackson's character Cox. Then one of my pupils hyperdilated after they put these drops in my eyes to make them go bloodshot after a fight with Jamie Bell's character Griffin. It got stuck in the dilated position so I had to go to hospital for that."
The film sees Hayden play 'Jumper' Davey, who is capable of teleporting himself anywhere but must evade a group of trained agents whose sole purpose is to kill all Jumpers.
The movie will hit cinema screens next month.
