And oh yeah.....depressed, have you seen robert pattinson?!?i don't think that you have.HE'S FRIKIN' BEAUTIFUL.....LIKE BELLA DESCRIBES EDWARD....HE LOOKS BETTER THAN A FRIKIN' GOD!, WHAT IS YOUR ISSUE?!?ROBERT PATTINSON EVEN LOOKS LIKE A FRIKIN' VAMPIRE WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT ROBERT WOULDN'T FIT THE PART?!?JUST TELL ME WHY?????

i am really upset that robert pattinson is going to play edward... but i am definetly still going to see the movie. and another thing the picture of esme on stephenie meyer.com well... she has brown hair and she is really suppossed to have blonde hair!!!!!! goodness is the world coming to an end???!!! i mean first they have an ugly edward then they have a brunett esme? i am just SO confused its not even funny!!!! haha

no one can look exactly like how Stephenie described him. hes pretty freakin awesome and u people need to give him a chance. dont judge his acting abilites or how much alike he sounds to Stephenie's description of edward before u even get to see him act! hes gonna be perfect. i've seen videos of him acting before (no not just as cedric diggory) but behind the scenes of Twilight and hes awesome. he takes this job seriously because its a great book thats soon to be a great movie. i'll be one of the first people in line on december 12 and i will cheer insanely loud when i first see robert playing edward in the movie. just give him a chance to show us all that he can play this part perfectly and he will do it better than henry cavil or n e 1 else. besides...if they end up doing new moon and eclipse, its gonna take a couple of years to film both of those and henry cavil or n e 1 else will be too old to play edward by then. and vampires r suppossed to be immortal. they had to choose a young actor and there robert was ready to act and he was perfect. and all his pics do him justice.

yes yes i agree!
edward cullen in this movie is hideous! But never mind, just forget robert's face and keep on replacing it with your own Edward.
In my mind, Edward is so unbelievably handsome and good-looking that I can't even put a face to him.

Robert Pattinson is the hottest guy and he should be in the movie and fast Because i want the movie to come out like now!!!!!!!! so make the damn movie so everyone can see it this movie and it better be good like the book because it is good and it better be good than the book!!!!!

hi im jess..and i luve the books and i theink the movie will be amazing...
but i have a question for lizzie...
lizzie- i have a friend on a site just like this one called the percy jakson site.. diferent movie same thing... i was wondering if u were the same person.. if u r then this is totaly acward.. lol!!!

so i think the movie will be rlly good... i think that kristan stewart and robert patterson r great choises... though many of u would dissagree.. im just saying... ttyl

Hello. I would just like to say to all those out there who think that Robert Pattinson is not the right choice for Edward Cullen are absolutely insane! Go to his fansite and look at the pictures that have been taken of him on set, and then you may change your mind. Also, why the heck would you want Gaspard to play Edward...UM NO! not a good choice.(no disrespect to him, as he would be perfectly fine as any other character in any other movie) So overall i would like to say that I completely support the entire twilight cast(Especially Rob and Kristin) and that i know they will all do amazing. For all of you who say otherwise, guess what?-too bad. It is how it is and I hope that you can come to terms with this fact and actually appreciate Stephanie's choices, as she was the one who created this magical novel and let us experience it.
Think about it.

yes Gaspard Ulliel is ULTRA HOT - and can i jst point out edward is meant to look young!! - bt can i jst point out that his english is probably not that good since he is french!!!

and by the way robert pattison may not be quite as fit but he is an amazing actor PLUS he is british so will have a LUSH british accent which believe me is absolutely gorgeous and i cant imagine edward with an american voice - yuk. and he actually is very nice indeed, if youve seen any trailers for twilight you will real;ise that in the film he doesnt look anything like this less than flattering image (look up!!)

can i also add that kristen is a really good actress to play bella and like some of you have said - stephenie is really pleased with the castings. cough robert pattison cough

I thought he SUCKED at first. but now i think he is actually good for the part. i think they did real well for the cast picking. i mean noone can look as perfect as edward is portrayed in the book, but they still did good. i cant wait to see it. i hope they make new moon and eclipse and soon to be breaking dawn as well :)
