Robert Pattinson joins Kristen Stewart on Twilight

Robert Pattinson is okay. But Gaspard Ulliel would be much 'Perfect' as Edward Cullen, the thing is I've never seen him act yet. I saw Robert act (HP) he's good for a newkid. I agree, it's how they act that matters and the script. I hope they won't cut scenes in twilight like what happened in Harry Potter. Seriously, I can imagine Robert and Kristen as Edward and Bella, they are good. 'They are the perfect combination'

i think robert is aktualy a good guy for edward. he's hot and everything. well guess what, guys, live with it! u mite hav to accept that noones gna be as perfect as edward. bt i can imagine robert playing edward n i rekon he's gna fit for the description.everytime i read the book i think of him as edward n he's pretty ok for the spot!

its up to his acting skill now. i hope he can pull it out. but im really looking forward to the moviie. hurry up n finish iit!

Okay I'm okay with Robert Pattinson being Edward but I DO NOT LIKE THE IDEA OF KRISTEN STEWART playing as Bella. I wanted Danielle Panabaker to be Bella! To tell the truth almost the whole cast of Twilight is disappointing to me....The people that they chosen do not look like anything that I pictured it.

When i first heard Edaward was going to play the role i was very sad. I hadn't really made up a character for Edward while i was reading..i just thought of him as this amazingly attractive, dangerous, guy. I believe Robet Pattison will surprise us all...he was casted for a reason.
GIVE HIM A BREAK!!!!
The more you look at Robert's pictures, the more you will see that he has that dangerous, hott/inocent look. He will portray Edward very WELL!!!Give him a chance...please. =)
Robet Pattison will stop your heart when you see the movie!!!

i think robert pattinson IS an edward. I've always imagined him (edward) to have, like, definite features and robert has 'em. When i first saw him (robert) in the harry potter film, i readily thought he was handsome. Now, after seeing his performance in the vanity fair alternate ending, the pictures of the cullen family and the picture of him and kristen stewart, i think he's ready to be that god-like creature that we've all fantasized about!

Well, i guess this is a matter of opinion, but i think he will be fine. Edward is supposed to have a bit of an english accent, robert pattinson is pretty hot, and anywayz, its hollywood, so i shouldn't matter anywayz.

obviously no one will portray him as their own edward...coz everyone pictures edward differently. soo all u haters out there..should suck it! i mean...c'mon. if no one was perfect for edward..then there wouldn't be a movie. but u wait and see...rob is gonna do GREAT! :D he has this compelling characteristic...and he's irresistable...and alluring! he'll be an amazing edward! just u wait and see! ppl please shut up about gaspard...obviously he wasnt good enuff for the part..otherwise they would've considered him. robert is wayy better for the part. and stephanie even said so herself. and she doest get that whole gaspard dealeo. soo please...stop being haters and let them just do their job and make a great movie out of this fantastic novel! im soo excited! rob will do an amazing job ..as always! :D

GO ROBERT!
eveytime i read the books....i picture him as edward. and he fits the part. and c'mon guys...no one is gonna be perfect to be edward. he's only a fictional character who will all visualize in our thoughts and imagination...thats why its called a novel...a book...soo our imaginations can go far and beyond..soo give this guy a break! WHEN he pulls this off...you guys can just finally stop nagging about it. coz he will do exceptionally! he IS edward cullen.

Personally i think robert is gonna play edward perfectly.
As soon as i found out he was playing Edward in the movie, i reread the books, i didn't struggle at all to visualize Rob and Kristen. I think hes pretty hot and sexy - in this dark, misterious way (which is exactly what a vampire should look like. If u havent seen other pics of Mr. Pattison look for others because sadly the one they have here is a pretty bad picture of him.

For all those people that keep on saying that he isn't good enough, just stop it. Stephenie Meyer, herself, was part of picking the cast for the movie. I'm pretty sure she knows what's best for the film, and that both, kristen and Robert, will do an amazing portraying Edward and Bella, So just get over it. Besides they have chemistry.

i think that whoever said that jackson rathbone could be a better actor than robert pattinson when it comes to playing edward cullen has serious issues.robert plays perfect for the part and they use make-up to make him look more like a vampire....though he already looks like one a little, but they use it and he is amazing when it comes to acting so shut-up and just watch the frikin' movie...gosh....watch the movie and then judge robert because that is so frustrating when it comes to people acting, IT IS JUST A MOVIE!Robert Pattinson will only play Edward Cullen for like 2.5 hours, and then hes not edward anymore......so just stop complaining!

i did think that real person they should change was rosalie.....now im thinking that i judged to quickly.....i'll just watch the movie and see if i was right or not.

I think it should SOOO be Gaspard Ulliel. He is gorgeous.. flawless. Just like Edward is supposed to be. This guy... is NOT gorgeous like Edward should be. CHANGE IT!
