Director John Singleton has signed to bring the hit television series “The A-Team” to the big screen.
The director confirmed his involvement in the film on the website BlackVoices.com, and also stated he would not be directing Executive Order: Six – which was announced last month.
“The A-Team” became a huge success during its run from 1983-87. The series featured George Peppard, Mr. T, Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz as a team of Vietnam vets who will also stopped the bad guys.
The team was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit, but escaped to find a new career helping people as soldiers of fortune.
The big screen version of the story will be updated to current political issues.
