Sissy Spacek and Mary Steenburgen are set to join Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn for the upcoming holiday film Four Christmases for New Line.

Kristin Chenoweth and Robert Duvall have also signed to star in the Spyglass Entertainment romantic comedy. The film will be directed by Seth Gordon and was written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. Producing duties are being handled by Jonathan Glickman, Roger Birnbaum and Gary Barber. Witherspoon and Vaughn are also set to produce, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film follows a newly married couple (Witherspoon and Vaughn) as they attempt to visit all sets of their parents for the Christmas. Spacek is set to play the New Age mother of Brad (Vaughn), and Steenburgen will take on the mother of Kate (Witherspoon) – who has personality issues. Chenoweth is lined up for Kate's controlling sister and Duvall plays Brad's father.
The movie is planning a 2008 holiday release with Michael Disco and Mark Kaufman overseeing production for New Line.
