Wayans brothers spoof the cop genre

Keenen Ivory, Shawn and Marlon Wayans are set to take a shot at the cop genre with an upcoming spoof comedy for Paramount Pictures.Variety reports the three brothers have written a script taking on the genre (like they did with horror when Scary Movie hit the big screen), and are also lined up to star in the film. Keenen Ivory Wayans will also handle directing duties on the film.The Wayans brothers found tremendous success with the Scary Movie franchise – which has brought in more than $420 million domestically for Dimension Films. They will produce the untitled spoof film with partner Rick Alvarez.
