Hardin and Trachtenberg join Zac Efron for 17

Michelle Trachtenberg and Melora Hardin have signed on to join Zac Efron in New Line’s upcoming teen comedy 17. The film will also feature Matthew Perry as a grown-up version of Efron with Leslie Mann set to play his wife. The film, which was written by Jason Filardi, is set to start production this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.The film follows a middle-age father who wakes to discover he is 17 again, and enrolls in the same high school as his kids. Trachtenberg will handle the role of Efron/Perry's daughter and Hardin will play the school’s principal.
