Gary Oldman joins Zemeckis’ Christmas Carol

Gary Oldman has signed on for multiple roles in Robert Zemeckis’ upcoming spin on A Christmas Carol – which will be shot as a 3-D/CG motion-capture film.Moviehole reports the film will also star Jim Carrey (in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge) and Oldman could be tapped to play Scrooge’s dead business partner Jacob Marley.The film is scheduled to hit theaters in time for the 2009 holiday season with a November 6th release.
