Peter Sarsgaard and Vera Farmiga to star in Orphan

Peter Sarsgaard - - Hollywood, CA © Glenn Harris / PhotorazziVariety reports the film is Collet-Serra's follow-up to the remake of House of Wax and will see the director once again teaming with Joel Silver's Dark Castle Entertainment. Warner Bros. will handle distribution of the film. The film will start production next week in Toronto and Montreal. Silver, Susan Downey and Erik Olsen are handling producing chores. Don Carmody and Steve Richards will executive produce.The film’s plot revolves around a husband and wife (Sarsgaard and Farmiga) who lose a baby and then adopt a 9-year-old girl who may not be as sweet as she seems. The screenplay was written by David Leslie Johnson, and is based on a story by Alex Mace.
