Samuel L. Jackson “rocks the cradle” with New Line

Samuel L. Jackson has been lined up to star in New Line’s Man That Rocks the Cradle – which will be the first project in the partnership between the studio and Jackson’s Uppity Films.
Variety reports Jackson is scheduled to produce the film with Michael Nash through the Uppity Films banner. Executive producing duties will be handled by Chris Fenton and McKittrick. The film was bought as a spec script by Josh Cagan - based on a story he wrote with Rob McKittrick.
The film’s plot follows a husband and father of four who decides he needs a live-in nanny. Jackson will star as the nanny, Marion Delacroix. His character is rumored to be a "kid whisperer" from the South.
