Philip Pullman called Narnia poisonous. That alone tells quite a bit about Pullman. He's had no problem squaking about the Narnia movie when it came out. Guess the shoes on the other foot now.

I just saw Narnia. It should have been better, or were the books not that good? This story sound like gnostic christianity to me. That makes it a rather unusually moral tale.

He says its not against religion but in the back of his mind it is to him. He should now why he is taking all this heat. If he didn't brag about being an athiest and how narnia was so bad and stupid, he wouldnt be in this situation.

The movie looks cool. When i first noticed it in the spring of this year i was curious of what it was about. As i have found out about the series and all about Pullman it kind of turns me off for the movie and to read what pullman said about religion and what he thinks makes me loathe him.
But i saw the newest trailer and the movie looks very cool and Im still interested in seeing it and judging for myself. The story, the characters, the fight against good and evil, these themes i like about the movie. Pullman i think wrote a very good story. It is the meaning behind the story that angers me.
