Jennifer Garner eyeing This Side of the Truth

Actress Jennifer Garner is said to be in final negotiation to star in the upcoming indie comedy This Side of the Truth. If signed, Garner would star opposite Ricky Gervais in the film.
Variety reports This Side of the Truth is scheduled to start start shooting in the spring. The film is set in a world where lying does not exist and follows an “Everyman” character (Gervais) who discovers how to lie. Naturally, he uses his new found talent to romance a woman (Garner) and find success at his work.
The film was written by Ricky Gervais and Matthew Robinson. Gervais is also set to handle directing duties. The project will be produced by Lynda Obst and son Oly Obst with Media Rights Capital handling financing for the film.
