Kevin Dillon will be running with a new pack when he joins Emma Roberts, Don Cheadle and Lisa Kudrow in DreamWorks' "Hotel for Dogs."

The live-action film is based on Lois Duncan's 1971 children's book and follows two orphaned teenagers who take care of nine stray dogs in an abandoned hotel. The Hollywood Reporter has stated Dillon will play Kudrow's husband and Roberts' foster parent.
The film is directed by Thor Freudenthal and the screenplay was written by Jeff Lowell. Producing duties are being handled by Lauren Shuler Donner, Jack Leslie and Jon Gordon. Shooting started earlier this month Marc Haimes and Chloe Dan are shepherding the project on behalf of president of production Adam Goodman.
