Have you forgotten the name of your website? Apparently so. Look up 'The Monsters and the Critics' on Wikipedia.
Beowulf is not a Norse poem, it was written in Old English. If it had been Norse, it's unlikely a Professor of Anglo-Saxon would have based his academic reputation on writing about it.
