Coppola disses Pacino, De Niro and Nicholson

it's the end of the road for these guys. They are old and can no longer do certain films. They can be old coots and codgers but that's about it.
There are a bunch of new young bucks out there. These men had their day. Now they can move over.

I am afraid Mr Coppola is just lashing out because he is the least productive of the so called 'Great Directors.' Coppola is also implying that They were only doing good in his films and then lost the passion.

I would Suggest that Copola could have streched Godfather into ten parts and could actually be working on somthing that not only him and his daughter will watch.

Deniro has made films that far surpass the Godfather in everyway, Pacino has done other epics that make Godfather look like amateur hour(Godfather 3 anyone?)

Mr Copola should be grateful for what those men did for him, but like all meglomaniacs they only see one side of the coin. They are rich and they earned it, I have paid my money countless times to see them and they are wonderful. Right on Kill will be excellent. If its not, I will say it is anyways. Thats how golden they have been to me.

What happened to you Francis?
