Marc Forster, director of 'Kite Runner' should be applauded for bringing this issue to a broader public knowledge. He describes Kite Runner as “giving a voice and a face to people who’ve been voiceless and faceless for the last 30 years.” www.kiterunnermovie.com
Applauded? Not when he deceives a 12 and 16 year old boy into thinking it's a harmless film about kite flying; then while filming in China, they expect the one boy to drop his pants in the film! The care givers who accompanied the children were only told that it was a film about kite flying.
