Kevin Dillon has cast as the title character in the forthcoming spoof 'National Lampoon's 301: The Legend of Awesomest Maximus Wallace Leonidas.'
Variety reports Jason Burinescu wrote the script and that a director will be named soon.
'301' will be a spoof of epics such as '300,' 'Troy' and 'Gladiator.'
Filming is due to begin before the end of the year.
