Rose McGowan to play Barbarella?

ELLE.com is reporting that Rose McGowan is slipping into a fur bikini and major bouffant to take on the title role in the remake of Barbarella. EPA/MARTIAL TREZZINIRobert Rodriguez, who left his wife and mother of his five children, Elizabeth Avellan, after an affair commenced with McGowan on the "Grindhouse" set, is directing and has cast his love in the part made famous by Jane Fonda. Actresses from Sienna Miller, Halle Berry, Kate Beckinsale and Nicole Kidman were speculated to play the Queen of the Galaxy, but it seems he's found the perfect Barbarella in his main squeeze, McGowan.
