Paul Bettany (pictured) and Thomas Kretschmann have joined the cast of 'The Young Victoria.' © Glenn Harris / PhotorazziVariety reports the pair will join Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend, Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Mark Strong, who have already been cast.The film will follow the Queen's rise to power, with attention paid to her early more stormy years on the throne and her marriage to Prince Albert.Bettany will play Lord Melbourne, adviser to Queen Victoria and Kretschmann will play Victoria's uncle, King Leopold of Belgium. Broadbent has been cast as King William and Richardson will play the Duchess of Kent. Victoria will be played by Blunt, with Friend as Prince Albert.Jean-Marc Vallee will direct from a script by Julian Fellowes.
