Forget pricey Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Brad Pitt and Tom Hanks, if you want to make some money as a film producer: Hire Matt Damon.
Matt Damon, star of the Bourne trilogy, offers the best box-office return on his salary, according to business magazine Forbes.
The Ultimate Star Payback lists Damon as making $29 at the box office for every $1 he received in salary.
The list was computed by averaging the stars' salary for their last three films and setting it against the box-office takings.
The Bourne star offers twice the value of Tom Cruise, Will Smith and Tom Hanks.
Brad Pitt came in at number two, and Johnny Depp comes in as the third with Vince Vaughn following.
Jennifer Aniston turns out to be the most profitable woman among Hollywood's A-list actors, with 'The Break-Up' pushing her above Angelina Jolie, Renée Zellwegger and Reese Witherspoon in the rankings.
Damon's latest film, "The Bourne Ultimatum," has raked in near 70 million in US box office in the last weekend.
