DreamWorks acquire movie rights to 'The Damned' and 'Courtney Crumrim'

DreamWorks have picked up movie rights to Oni Press' comic book series 'The Damned' and 'Courtney Crumrim.''Crumrin,' written and illustrated by Ted Naifeh, follows a misfit who lives with her upwardly mobile parents. When they move into her uncle's mansion the girl finds magic in the library.'The Damned' is a supernatural gangster-thriller written by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.The tale features two rival gangs who have to join forces to battle a horde of demons who invade their city.
